I shouldn’t be looking over Dries Van Noten’s Spring 2009 nor posting this post. Phyics HW.
It’s a fine first day. Oh, thank you for all who are following me, an average of 100 unique visits everyday.
Oh god; J.C. rocks.

Went to Cubao X, Gateway and Bonifacio High Street last night with my cousins. And I really felt I should get an SLR. Well, I still have 2 more months to wait.
Anyway, here’s our bittersweet story last night: First, we went to The Reading Room choose some beaded rings and told the kind sweet seller that we’ll come back and buy the rings. Then we went to K.A.R.M.A., the best furniture store I have ever been in, it was my first time inside K.A.R.M.A., it was closed when I first went to Cubao X. Then, we interviewed kuya, the seller, and asked where all those things came from (there were quirky headbands, rings, awesome earrings, dhoti pants, a jersey jumpsuit, amazing bags; one of which is an original Gucci bag; and shoes that are just heaven to me). He said it were all from Europe.
WOW.
And the lowest price for the shoes would be 1,300php and the highest would be 3,000php. Now, that’s a cheap price for shoes if they came all the way from Europe up to the Philippines. So, we said we’d come back, again.
Then we went to Sputnik, a really different kind of bookstore filled with majestic, wonderful art and comic books, then we moved on to the I Love You store and checked out the deconstructed awesome pieces they were selling and boy, were they expensive. (But ofcourse it’s reasonable because of all those handwork they put into the clothes.)
After all the long walks and talks with the sellers in each store, we were starving. We went to Halo, a dainty little restaurant with a really healthy menu. Ordered some Creamy Mushroom pasta, Tuna Salpicao and ofcourse their specialty drink, the Halo drink, a drink mixed with 4 spirits, 4 fruits and a secret indgredient. (Srsly, that was what said in the menu!)
Then, after we’ve been fueled with delicious food, we went back to the stores we said we’re going back to.
Tantananan. And then…
They were all closed. All was left was the I Love You Store and Vintage Pop on the other side of Cubao X. So, with heartbroken hearts (my cousin even hid the ring she wanted to buy) we went back to I Love You Store and I bought this ridiculously dainty mirror pin then decided to go to Bonifacio High Street to drink coffee and browse pretty magazines. sigh.

BTW: After browsing some magazines at Fully Booked, I saw that Tricia Gonsingtian, yes the Manila photographer, was featured in Stella Magazine (one of the many features that the media has done about her), and in Meg; Chuvaness, LittleMissDressUp and ILoveMartine were featured as well, together with Tavi, the style rookie.

Do you know how hard it is to find one decent plain shirt?
It’s either pricey or it doesn’t fit well.
Luckily, I own a perfect black shirt from Erstwhile’s sale and this Hanes shirt might need some tossing and turning and tinkering and it’ld be close to perfect.
I’m pissed off. I can’t seem to start my johdpur project. I can’t find that perfect drapey but kindov strong fabric to make a dropcrotch pants. Any suggestions? Jersey perhaps?
